Pierrepont Hicks Ties and Bowties

The reversible Mackers bowtie.
Don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard of Pierrepont Hicks, it’s a fresh new face in the neckwear game. Founded by Katherine McMillian and her husband Mac, the two were inspired by Scottish wools when looking for Mac’s mirage kilt, resulting in elegant and fun, reversible skin ties and bowties. Katherine got her start designing for Ralph Lauren and also spent time with Calvin Klein, Gourmet and ELLE magazines. You can tell Kat does all the designing—but asks Mac for his opinion—because the ties are classic, but have a little hidden flare, and each one has a matching bowtie. While the ties are designed in the Midwest, don't worry all the ties are cut and sewn at NYC's garment district. This is an exciting company and we can’t wait to see what they get into next. those bow ties are oh so whack. quit trying to hard!
Why is every piece of fashion posted on this website so clearly out of touch and ugly?
Where's your blogs, haters? Love to see what styles you rock.
I'm at a loss as to how one can disapprove of something as classic as the bow tie. and these bow ties in particular are gorgeous. just because they don't sell bow ties at your local ed hardy store doesn't mean that they're "out of touch"-- bow ties are always in style.
I started Boy Kings as a place to share the stuff I'm into, not to get the approval of Brooklyn internet haters. I know my style is a little fancier and more daring than many American men are willing to venture into today, and that some are so insecure that they pick one-way fights on comment boards.
That's fine, but for the record if you're not into Pierrepont Hicks you don't have much elegance in your life. These are classic wools with traditional American cuts and a little silk flare that make them something special. And I stand by them 100%, and oh ya, so does Valet Magazine, but I guess someone who can't even spell "fashion" must know more about it than us.
Preach on Illson. These ties are beautiful.
why when I give this website a compliment, do I get blocked from viewing your blog? That comment wasn't a joke.
